Vigil of Hope
Ian Lewis & Paige Merical
Please keep in mind, this is a student led prayer event (not a memorial service), with no affiliation to Wake Forest High School, the Town of Wake Forest, or sponsored by any clubs or teams. This event is informal, for ANYONE in the community who would like to spread love and support. This is a time where Wake Forest and its surrounding communities should come together as one, and provide comfort and unity for all those who are impacted. Attendees should come and go at their leisure.
Community members can attend to pray, to send their wishes to the families, and provide comfort to others also in attendance.
Please show your love and support, as we come together to spread a sense of light and positivity in the community.
Wear GREEN in support of them
At tragic times within our community, it is important to come together, hand in hand, and support those we love and hold dear. Many have been affected with the saddening news of two Wake Forest High School seniors, Ian Lewis and Paige Merical—friends, family, classmates and community members. With the students and their families in mind, a community prayer has been organized in hopes to provide a beacon of light and hope for those whose lives they so greatly impacted. This will be held at Joyner Park at 701 Harris Road, Wake Forest, NC on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6-8 pm.
